Burt and Lee visit the 1966 Batmobile
Visitors to the show and to Dan's vehicles would be greeted that Saturday afternoon by personal appearances by both Burt Ward, the Robin from the 1966 Batman TV series, and by Lee Meriwether, who played Catwoman in the 1966 movie of the same name.
The weather was cold and raw, making visitors and performers alike uncomfortable. It had to be especially difficult for California residents Burt and Lee, but they seemed to be having a great time like the rest of us!
Shortly before 3 p.m., Burt Ward came around. Of course, the 1966 Robin had to meet the Caped Crusader, played ably by Scott Sebring!
Burt also gets to shake Catwoman's claw!
Here we go again with the Catmobile business! Only this time, we have Lee Meriwether in the picture, at right. Ms. Meriwether, by the way, was Miss America for 1955-and a sweet lady!
